The good locator is an item that provides teleports to resource locations for Herblore, Fishing, Mining and Woodcutting. It is created via the Divination skill at level 62. It starts with 50 charges, and can be recharged by using vibrant energy (three energies per charge).
In addition to having the ability to teleport to all the previous locations of the poor locator, the good locator can also teleport to gold ore, mithril ore, yew tree, Fish 2, and Herblore Secondaries 2 locations.
When teleporting to a location in the Wilderness, a warning will be given regardless if the player is opted into PvP or not.
Teleport locations are randomly selected from the following. More locations may exist. With a failed teleport it will read "The locator buzzes for a second, then emits a small puff of smoke. Oh dear." A failed teleport does not use a charge. It is possible to be teleported to the same location more than once in a row.
Locators can be crafted with Divination. They all come with 50 charges like normal, requiring half the amount of energy made to recharge back to 50 charges. They now work for Elder Trees also!

Previously, if you already had a good locator and attempted to create a second one you would be told "You've already got a locator in the bank; you can't own more than one locator at a time."
As the good locator required divine locations to craft, it was impossible to make from the DailyScape Overhaul update of March 16th, 2026, (unless the player had leftover divine locations), up to March 30th, 2026.
