The bestiary is a database of all the monsters in RuneScape, searchable by level, attack style, and weakness.
Search[edit | edit source]
The bestiary filter selector is loading and will appear here when it is ready.
If it does not load, check that:
- You are using the desktop version of the site (click here to load the desktop version)
If both of the above are enabled and it doesn't load, try refreshing the page. If it continues to not load, try hard-refreshing the page (Ctrl/Cmd+F5 or Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R in most browsers) or clearing your cache and refreshing normally.
Details[edit | edit source]
The bestiary searches through data set on each monster's page - to change anything that appears here, edit the relevant page's Infobox Monster.
Below is information on each of the filters and what they mean.
Whether or not the monster is only available in members (or "don't care").
Where the item is available for use. This can be:
- Anywhere, don't care
- Unrestricted - everything that isn't one of the below
- Dungeoneering - monsters that are only available within Daemonheim (this does not include rewards like frost dragons)
- Quests - monsters that are only available within quests (this does not include rewards like tormented demons)
- Minigames - monsters that are only available within minigames
- Attack style
The monster's attack style.
The monster's weakness. Note that the 'all X' options select based on the monster's highest affinity (which isn't necessarily always the class associated with their weakness; e.g. abyssal demon is weak to slash, but the highest affinity class is magic).
- Data display
The standard display shows a plethora of basic information about each monster: level, life points, experience, styles, weaknesses, and slayer information. If more information is required, set the display to extended. Extended additionally shows levels, accuracy, armour, and affinities for each monster.
Warning: the extended display is very wide and may not fit on most displays. The results per page are also reduced to 200 (from 500) due to processing limits.
A maximum and minimum level can applied to narrow searches further. These are first enabled using the checkboxes, then a number can be specified in the text box.
If some things don't appear to be correct with the results set or the form, please report it on Talk:Bestiary.
