2024 April Fools is an event that introduced the Benchsitting skill.

Benchsitting was possible to train by sitting on many benches found in Gielinor. Upon reaching level 99 Benchsitting, [Name] the Bench Warmer title was unlocked, and, upon talking to Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park, he handed the player a Benchsitting cape. Sir Tiffy Cashien also wore the cape himself during the event. Both the title and cape will remain available after the event ends for the players who unlocked them.

This was also the first year June could be spotted in the City of Um.

  • April Fools has come to an end – hopefully you are all well rested and can now bench higher then ever before!
    • Your Benchsitting Cape will still be accessible, but you won't able to earn levels in the skill or acquire the cape.
    • Check out Diango's Store in Draynor to get your hands on some rewards from previous years!
