Song of Seren

The Song of Seren was a weekend long event from 12:00 UTC on 10 May to 11:59 UTC on 13 May 2019 with rotating benefits every 2 hours similar to the Voice of Seren in Prifddinas but for the entire game world. It served as a preview to the Desperate Times quest.

Each Song focused on one of four sets of skills – Support, Combat, Gathering, and Artisan - and lasted 2 hours after which it switched to another Song. When the Song of a particular set was active, players received a bonus of 1.5x XP in the activated skills. The bonus experience limitations were the same as the ones during a Double XP Weekend. Logging in during the event prompted the message Song of Seren weekend is now active!

Players could speak with Endwyr, Emissary of Seren, located just north of the Burthorpe lodestone for an explanation of the event.

This event was accompanied by the Treasure Hunter promotion Time to Seren.

Council summons

Before the event, Seren appeared on the first floor of the Burthorpe Castle. She was co-ordinating her council, but tells the player to come back later.

With the end of the song, all of the summoned guests disappeared leaving only Seren.

Benefits

Ironmen do not benefit from the additional experience, reduced burn chance or saved potion secondaries.

Support

Skills: Agility, Dungeoneering, Slayer, Thieving, and Invention
	No experience penalty for dying in Dungeoneering Increased loot and chance of getting totems whilst safecracking All Slayer tasks act as if the player has VIP tickets

Artisan

Skills: Cooking, Construction, Crafting, Firemaking, Fletching, Herblore, Runecrafting, and Smithing
	Reduced chance of burning food 2.5% chance to save a secondary when making potions Increases node spawn and double rewards in the Runespan

Combat

Skills: Attack, Constitution, Defence, Magic, Prayer, Ranged, Strength, and Summoning
	+1 to all charm drops Decreased cost of instances 1 auto resurrection to full health per run in Elite Dungeons

Gathering

Skills: Divination, Farming, Fishing, Hunter, Mining, and Woodcutting
	10% chance not to deplete Uncharted Isles resources Training hotspots in the Hall of Memories don't move as often 10% more beans from selling items at the player-owned farm
