The 2016 April Fools event existed out of a fake BTS video[1] and a free Terrorbird mount from Solomon's General Store. The BTS mentioned this mount which is a reference to players asking for mounts (horses) for years. It also revealed special edition t-shirts with Mod Mark's face on them. Other jokes included RuneVision with which players would be able to play RuneScape with virtual reality.
- The T-Shirts were removed from stock a day later. Additionally, those who bought one received an email a few days later informing them that they would not be manufactured.[2]
