The 2018 Winter event is the sequel to the 2017 Winter event in which players can kill three wolves found in the Fremennik Province: Hati, Sköll, and Fenrir. Players can talk to Vali and Vitharr for more information.

Hati is found in the woods south-east of Rellekka, and can drop Hati paws, which grant experience and bonus combat experience, as well as a cosmetic cloak and hood.

Sköll must be summoned by adding logs to the bonfire, west of the Rellekka entrance. Once 120 logs are added to the fire (including all players on your current world), Sköll will emerge. Defeating him will grant players Sköll boots, which grants experience and bonus experience in Agility or Woodcutting. They can also get a cosmetic amulet.

Fenrir can be found south east of Rellekka near the golden tree. Players will receive Fenrir's tooth, which rewards players with experience and bonus experience in either Herblore or Summoning. They can also earn cosmetic body and legs gear.

The bonus experience granting items are re-dropped each year. The cosmetic items are only dropped if the player doesn't already have them.

Players can also aid Eir again by finding her helmet and spear. These items have a chance to be dropped by defeating either Hati or Sköll or by harvesting enriched wisps at the sparkling wisp colony, south-east of Rellekka. Harvesting an enriched spring guarantees a piece of equipment, provided that the player hasn't gotten any from the wolves before. Players can only find one of the two items, and they will need to obtain two of the same items and then trade one of them with another player. For handing in both items at Eir, she will give the player experience and bonus experience in either Prayer or Divination, and by doing this, the player will also unlock the cosmetic overrides of Eir's helmet and spear, if not owned already.

Ironman players will only receive experience from this event, as they cannot get the bonus experience.
