Greater demon pyromancers are monsters released with The Zamorakian Undercity, appearing in various places throughout.

There used to be a version that spawned in the Wilderness with sufficiently high threat as part of the ambush mobs, but they are no longer present in the Wilderness following the removal of the threat system on 13 March 2023. The NPCs remain in the game cache.

Drops

The drop tables in this section are only available in The Zamorakian Undercity.

The following table has a chance for common dungeon monsters when holding a Lucky charm (Zamorakian Undercity): There is a 1/50 chance of rolling the Lucky charm (Zamorakian Undercity) drop table when one is in the backpack.

If the above table is not rolled, a reward from the following table is given:

This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included – see here for how to help out!
  • hidden 4 March 2024 (Update):
    • The Strong Guard buff has effectively been replaced by the damage potential system, and monsters which previously had this buff no longer have it.

  • update 13 March 2023 (Update):
    • The threat system is removed and so the wilderness version of greater demon pyromancers are no longer present in-game.

Trivia

  • This type of greater demon used to possess the Strong guard status, which made the players' attacks incapable of missing and made their damage dependent on their accuracy; this was effectively replaced by the damage potential system on 4 March 2024.
