Egg thief only appears during certain events and may not be currently found in game.

An egg thief is a masked imp that can appear during the 2020 Easter event. They are workers who have revolted against their employer, the Easter Bunny, and have ran off with his chocolate eggs. They have presumably eaten the chocolate eggs they stole, which the Easter Bunny asserts will cause a gaseous buildup in their stomachs and eventually cause them to explode.

Egg thieves may spawn when skilling and will wander around leaving behind small piles of Easter eggs. After dropping one pile, they will explode, leaving behind another small pile of Easter eggs. If the egg thief was spawned by the player, it will also leave behind a huge pile of Easter eggs for that player after exploding.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Upon release of the event, egg thieves spawned five small piles total. Two small piles spawned while the egg thief walked around and an additional three small piles spawned after the egg thief exploded. The amount of small piles spawned was changed to two in a hotfix later that day; one small pile followed by a another small pile during the egg thief's explosion. The amount of huge piles spawned remained the same.
