This article or section is incomplete and could do with improvement.
Reason: susceptibilities in general over the entire wiki are currently being reworked and may take time to be accurately reflected in infobox monster
You can discuss this issue on the talk page or edit this page to improve it.

Susceptibility is a property of monsters that determines if certain special effects work on them.

It's separate from weakness - weaknesses affect the affinities of the monster, where susceptibility just determines if an effect is active. Note that as Silverlight and Darklight affect affinity, they are treated as a weakness, even though they confer additional effects like a susceptibility.

Susceptibilities[edit | edit source]

  • Be aware of the difference between hit chance and accuracy - accuracy is the statistic on the player, hit chance is the final calculated value. Hit chance additions are generally much more potent.
  • Damage increases generally apply to the total damage statistic of the player, so can be combined with potions and power armour (and/or a powerful off-hand weapon, if one-handed) for more potency.
  • See each susceptibility for more information about exactly what it does.
