Zakl'n Gritch is one of K'ril Tsutsaroth's bodyguards, along with Balfrug Kreeyath and Tstanon Karlak. He uses the Ranged style of the combat triangle in K'ril's chamber. His fearsome appearance and power over ice have earned him the nickname "Scourge of the Light", being a prominent soldier in Zamorak's army.

He attacks by throwing large icicles, using them as javelins. He is considered to be a lesser demon for slayer assignments.

Drops[edit | edit source]

100% drop[edit | edit source]

Main drop[edit | edit source]

All bodyguards have a 1/128 chance to roll on to the "bodyguard unique" table, which includes all rare items unique to each faction except godsword shards (which are not unique), godsword hilts (which are only dropped by each faction's general) and Warpriest armour pieces (which can be dropped by all monsters in the same faction). Then, for Zamorak bodyguards, each unique has a 1/512 chance to drop. If no uniques are rolled, then you'll get 1,000-1,500 coins instead.[d 1]

  2. ^ Indicates a failed roll for uniques.

Tertiary drops[edit | edit source]

  1. ^ This drop only attempts to roll should you fail to roll a hard clue, should you get this item, there's a 1% chance it'll be upgraded to a sealed clue scroll (master).

Universal drops[edit | edit source]

Universal drops are dropped by nearly every monster outside of Daemonheim.
These items are dropped alongside main drops.

    • Zakl'n Gritch has been graphically updated.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • "Gritch" may be a reference to the children's holiday story "The Grinch". This is supported by the fact that his attacks are snow based, and "The Grinch" takes place in a snowy village.
  • Before the graphical update, Zakl'n Gritch's attack consisted of him scooping snow from the floor, accumulating it into a snowball before hurling it at the target. He also resembled more of a lesser demon, being the only one of K'ril's bodyguards to lack wings.
