Greater demons are non-player characters that can be seen while playing through Moia's first memory during the Daughter of Chaos quest. When the Avernic attack Bilrach's forces, they engage other unattackable non-player characters.

They also spawn as monsters during the quest's boss fight with Avaryss, the Unceasing. When killed, a health orb appears in their place, which can be absorbed to restore life points.
