Linza the Disgraced is the eighth Barrows wight. She is the wight of Linza, who was turned by Sliske during Kindred Spirits, when he double crosses her after she betrays the player for protection from the Dragonkin.

Linza the Disgraced can be fought after the Kindred Spirits quest is completed. She shares her tomb with Ahrim the Blighted.

Linza's set effect is purely defensive; whenever she takes damage, there is a chance that she will reflect anywhere from 500-800 damage back onto the player. She will still take full damage from incoming attacks, however. Players should be wary of this when using Death's Swiftness or Sunshine, as the damage-over-time effects can easily stack into high damage if her set effect activates often.

Barrows amulets cannot be used against her.

Drops

[edit | edit source]

Linza does not drop her main rewards directly; instead, her equipment is added as possible rewards from the Barrows chest. See The Barrows Brothers#Rewards for more information. However, Linza can directly drop the following items.

  1. ^ a b c d During October, the chance is increased. Only dropped if not already owned.
  2. ^ During October, the chance is doubled. Only dropped if not already owned.
  3. ^ During October, the chance is doubled. Only dropped if not already owned.
  4. ^ During October, the chance is 1/500. Only dropped if not already owned.

Sliske's Endgame

[edit | edit source]

During Sliske's Endgame, Sliske summons Linza along with Nomad as a wight and Gregorovic to impede the player after the Barrows brothers rebel against Sliske. She has 150,000 life points and keeps her passive effect of reflecting damage. She will also gain an ability that will cause her to shield herself and heal herself for 1,500 life points every few ticks, similar to Araxxor's web shield if she is not the first of the three defeated, and an ability that causes her to leap into the air and cause massive damage when she lands if the other two are defeated first.

    • An old restriction preventing the use of the Salve Amulet at Barrows has been removed. It also works in Rise of the Six.

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Linza is significantly different from the rest of the barrows group:
    • She is the only female in the entire group.
    • She has purple flames surrounding her sarcophagus instead of the normal red.
    • She's significantly stronger than the rest of the group despite sharing the same combat level as the original six, having slightly over twelve times their normal health. Her max hit is still comparable to them, however.
    • She is the only wight to possess tier 80 equipment; the others use tier 70 instead.
  • Similarly to Akrisae the Doomed, players who have access to Linza will be placed in a special instance of Ahrim's mound.
    • Unlike Akrisae, Linza can't be seen in the catacombs, as her sarcophagus lacks the ability to lead into the catacombs, which all others have the ability to do.
  • Upon being summoned, Linza will not despawn if the player is too far from her, unlike Verac and Akrisae who will. The only way to despawn her is by leaving the mound.
