The runecrafter's Catalyst fragment is obtained by completing Sliske's Endgame. It halves the degrade rate of runecrafting pouches. This effect seems to additively stack with the ethereal outfit's degrade prevention - when both are worn, your pouches will degrade 75% slower, or 100% slower (i.e. never degrade) with the infinity ethereal outfit. However, this does not seem to be entirely true for the massive pouch, which will still degrade occasionally. It can be combined with a hunter's Catalyst fragment and farmer's Catalyst fragment to form a combined Catalyst fragment.

It is recommended to make the combined Catalyst fragment, as it is more space efficient and has no downside for combining.

Pouch Protector is a relic power that completely prevents pouches from degrading, making it a superior version of the catalyst fragment's effect.
