Blighted rebounder detail.png

The blighted rebounder is the third most powerful rebounder in the game, and requires level 70 Magic and 70 Defence to equip. It can be created by combining a corruption sigil with a new or fully-repaired ahrim's staff. Like all rebounders, it allows the use of both dual-wielding and shield abilities, and provides a 3% accuracy boost. It also has a 1/15 chance to deflect a hit, reducing it by 50%-100% damage and providing +20% accuracy for the next attack.
All defenders have style and defence bonuses equal to that of half their tier.

The rebounder will degrade to a broken state after 100,000 charges of combat. It can be fixed by Repair NPCs, or at an armour stand in a player-owned house. A full repair, without discounts, costs 100,000 coins. Upon death in the wilderness, 25,000 coins will appear on the ground.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

The Blighted rebounder at most, costs 100,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is precisely calculated by the degradation percentage (i.e. with 75% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 25,000 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

With an NPC[edit source]

This less preferred methods costs more as it does not consider one's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Alternate methods[edit source]

These preferred methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).
