Super ranging potions are made by mixing clean dwarf weed and then Wine of Zamorak in a vial of water, giving 162.5 Herblore experience. It requires level 72 Herblore to make.

Using a super ranging potion temporarily raises the player's Ranged level by 2-13 (2 + 12% of the player's level, rounded down).

The super ranging potion is also an ingredient for making an extreme ranging potion, along with 5 grenwall spikes. A super ranging potion (4) is an ingredient in a grand ranging potion, one of the combination potions.

Along with all other combat super potions and a regular overload, it is an ingredient for making supreme overload potions.

One-dose potions can be pickpocketed from Cadarn workers.

Update history

[edit | edit source]
This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included – see here for how to help out!
  • patch 3 December 2013 (Update):
    • Added the word "Super" to the description for the Super Ranging potion.
  • update 4 March 2013 (Update):
    • Existing ranging and magic potions are now prefixed with 'super' - so what was previously called a ranging potion is now a super ranging potion. New, low-level potions have been implemented for the 1-5 Herblore level range, and these have adopted the non-prefixed name (e.g. ranging potion).
  • update 9 November 2009 (Update):
    • A large number of items with parentheses after their names have had spaces added for consistency and easier searching on the Grand Exchange (e.g. "Agility potion(4)" is now "Agility potion (4)").
  • update 26 October 2004 (Update):
    • An "Empty" option was added to the item.
  • update 29 March 2004 (Update):
    • The 4-dose potion became permanently available with the launch of RuneScape 2.
    • 1-dose, 2-dose and 3-dose potions can now be decanted into one vial.
  • beta 9 March 2004 (Update):
    • The 4-dose potion was added to the RuneScape 2 beta.
    • 1-dose, 2-dose and 3-dose potions can now be decanted into one vial.
  • hidden 18 March - 28 March 2002 (Update):
    • Changed the 2-dose potion's name from "ranging strength Potion" to "ranging Potion".

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Before the release of The World Wakes, this item was called a ranging potion; it was changed to avoid confusion with the newly released ranging potion.
