Not to be confused with Zemouregal brew.

Zamorak brews are made by mixing clean torstol and then jangerberries in a vial of water, giving 175 Herblore experience. It requires level 78 Herblore to make.

Zamorak brews temporarily raise Attack and Strength by 8% + 1, and restores 20-99 Prayer points. It also temporarily lowers Defence by 8% + 1 and remaining Life Points by 12% (all numbers rounded down). It is nearly useless on its own, as the cheap combat potion gives the same boosts without the negative effects (while a prayer potion restores several times as many prayer points).

A Super Zamorak brew can be made by mixing a Zamorak brew (3) along with a Wine of Zamorak and 93 Herblore.

Note that Zamorak brew cannot be used with the Lunar spell Boost Potion Share.

People would sometimes use this potion to lower their life points to either kill themselves and fully restore their stats, to respawn somewhere else, or to hit higher using Dharok's set effect. It's no longer possible to kill yourself with a Zamorak brew.

With level 79 Summoning, it is possible to use the Titan's constitution scroll in order to effectively counter the negative side effects of the Zamorak brew.

Previously, buying torstol potion (unf)s was highly recommended to avoid losing massive amounts of money. But currently, a player will lose -31.19 coins per xp, so this is not a recommended training method as it would mean spending -355,712,862 coins from 78 to 99.

The addition of overload has more or less made the Zamorak brew obsolete, as the former has a far more powerful effect and requires a clean torstol herb (unfinished potion doesn't work).

Torstol prices has since fallen to be in line with torstol potions, although Zamorak brews remain more expensive than potions at its level to make.

Grimy torstol is cleaned to become clean torstol added to a vial of water to make torstol potion (unf).
