|A large, robust flask crafted from crystal glass.|
|FAQ • doc|
Crystal flasks can only be created after completing the quest Plague's End as the crystal-flecked sandstone mine becomes accessible after completion of the quest. The mine can be found in the Ithell district of Prifddinas. The quest As a First Resort is required to use the machine to create the crystal glass.
Crystals flasks are made by using a glassblowing pipe with crystal glass (or simply by left-clicking the crystal glass if a glassblowing pipe is already on the player's tool belt), yielding 150 Crafting experience and requiring 89 Crafting. While the Voice of Seren is active in the Ithell district, creating a crystal flask when standing in the Ithell district yields 180 Crafting experience. Players may boost their level if below 89. This cannot be assisted. Combination potions that have a sip taken out of them cannot be traded on the Grand Exchange. The potion can still be traded to other players.
If the resourceful aura is used and the sandstone mine in the Edimmu dungeon is mined as well, an average of about 82 flasks can be made per day giving 12,300 - 14,760 Crafting experience.
Similar to vials and potion flasks, crystal flasks of identical potions can be decanted together to produce a flask with doses equal to the sum of the doses the flasks contained, up to six doses per flask. Teplin Macagan can assist with decanting large numbers of flasks, even in noted form.
