Nodon engineers are level 92 Slayer creatures found at the Nodon Front in Senntisten. They are a tougher variant of the other Nodon creatures. Killing a Nodon engineer has a chance to spawn a Nodon enforcer, which has an increased chance to drop the dwarf multicannon upgrade kit, kinetic cyclone upgrade kit, and Oldak coil upgrade kit.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Mechanics[edit | edit source]

Nodon engineers possess all special attacks that the Nodon guard, Nodon artificer, and the Nodon hunter uses. It will however, only choose one randomly and players should be able to determine it through the words it will show:

A Nodon guard's special attack is where they shout ARGHH!, leap into the air, and then slam back down. When this happens, the three tiles in front of them will be hit with a quake attack, dealing heavy damage and stunning the player if they're standing on one of those squares. To avoid it, players should sidestep the engineer as soon as it shouts or use Anticipation to negate the stun.

A Nodon artificer special attack happens when they say Feel the flames... and, after a brief pause, launch 3 fire beams in quick succession, each beam homing in on your current location. This attack ignores protection prayers and deflect curses. The attack can be avoided by moving.

A Nodon hunter's special attack will launch once he speaks BOMBS AWAY!, to which a 3x3 tile poison cloud will be placed under the player, taking constant damage until the player moves out of the zone or until it disappears.

They will occasionally say certain phrases:

  • Protect our kin, at ALL costs!
  • It's about time She gets a taste of her own medicine.
  • Keep up the good fight!
  • This battle is ours!
  • We shall not be defeated!
  • Stay alert!
  • The Roakin will regret this.
