Weapon poison++ detail.png

Weapon poison++ is the second strongest variant of weapon poison behind weapon poison+++. It is made by mixing cave nightshade and poison ivy berries in a vial of coconut milk, giving 190 Herblore experience. It requires level 82 Herblore to make.

Previous to the addition of Evolution of Combat, Weapon poison++ was applied directly to specific weapons. It is now a buff on the player that applies a poison effect to enemies no matter what weapon or style of combat is used.

Applying weapon poison++ will give you a 12.5% chance per hit to poison your opponent in combat. The poison effect appears as a buff and lasts for 10 minutes, dealing between 19.5-39% of your ability damage per poison hit. This deals poison damage on the first application and renews the poison duration. Poison will hit every 10 seconds and wear off after 3 minutes.

When paired with cinderbane gloves, weapon poison++ will have its base poison damage increased from 150 to 200 and the poison will process more often than using either of them separately.[1]

This potion can be made into an weapon poison++ flask by using at least six doses of it with a potion flask. Players do not need a specific level to turn potions into flasks.
