Laceration boots detail.png

Laceration boots are tier 80 melee power boots dropped by dinosaurs on Anachronia. When worn, the boots allow the use of the Bladed Dive ability with any melee weapon equipped (as opposed to only dual-wield). This permits the use of Bladed Dive with only one mainhand melee weapon or a two-handed melee weapon equipped.

When used in conjunction with a halberd-class weapon, they allow the area of effect of Bladed Dive to be expanded to a 5x5 square. This can make Bladed Dive a very powerful ability for killing large groups of monsters with low lifepoints, as each target that dies within 6 seconds of using the ability will reset the cooldown, allowing the ability to be used repeatedly.

This item degrades to a broken, repairable state over 60,000 charges of combat. The base repair cost is 500,000 coins for a full repair, which is scaled to how damaged it is. It can be repaired by a Repair NPC, or for cheaper on an armour stand/whetstone.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

The base repair cost of the Laceration boots when completely degraded to 0.0% item charge is 500,000 coins. It can be repaired by:

Alternatively, it can be repaired on an armour stand in a player-owned house, or a whetstone device anywhere. This provides a discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts).

If it is only partially degraded, then the cost of a full repair is multiplied by the percentage of item charge that needs to be repaired to produce the current repair cost.
