Laceration boots detail.png

Laceration boots are tier 80 power armour boots for melee dropped by the dinosaurs killable with Slayer (not to be confused with the Big Game Hunter variants) and Raksha, the Shadow Colossus.

When worn, the boots allow the use of the Bladed Dive with any melee weapon equipped (as opposed to only dual-wield). This permits the use of Bladed Dive with only one main-hand melee weapon or a two-handed melee weapon equipped.

When used in conjunction with a halberd-class weapon, they allow the area of effect of Bladed Dive to be expanded to a five-by-five square. This can make Bladed Dive a very powerful ability for killing large groups of monsters with low life points, as each target that dies within six seconds of using the ability will reset the cooldown, allowing the ability to be used repeatedly.

This item degrades to a broken, repairable state over 60,000 charges of combat. The base repair cost is 500,000 coins for a full repair, which is scaled to how damaged it is. It can be repaired by a character capable of repairing equipment, or for cheaper on an armour stand or whetstone.

Laceration boots can be upgraded to enhanced laceration boots by attaching a shadow spike. This increases the bonuses to tier 90 and retains their special effect, but renders them permanently untradeable.

Repair cost[edit | edit source]

This item costs at most 500,000 coins to repair completely. The repair cost is precisely calculated by the degradation percentage (i.e. with 75% charge remaining, a full repair would only cost 125,000 coins). It may be repaired through a variety of methods.

Non-player characters[edit source]

These methods cost more as they do not consider player's Smithing level for a repair discount.

Improved methods[edit source]

These methods provide a repair cost discount of 0.5% per Smithing level (including boosts):
