Runvastr is a poor dwarf that lives on Keldagrim's east side in the house directly south of the pickaxe shop. Despite his long years of work, he has achieved little and lives in a very small home. Not much else is known about him.

After completing the Love Story quest, players may speak with him about his days as a miner, after which they are given his diary from when he was a miner. Present this to the Wise Old Man in his house in Draynor and the players are given the option to make tele-tabs to Trollheim.

Update history

[edit | edit source]
This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included – see here for how to help out!
  • update 2 October 2013 (Update):
    • To go along with Birthright of the Dwarves, every dwarf in the game is now up to date with stunning new graphics. The graphics team have really outdone themselves, giving every dwarf in Gielinor a character all their own, as well as the tough, stocky frames they deserve.
  • update 10 January 2011 (Update):
    • Adventurers who have completed the Love Story quest may wish to travel to East Keldagrim to talk to a dwarf called Runvastr (in the building north-east of the Laughing Miner inn). If you deliver something from him to the Wise Old Man back in Draynor, you’ll earn the ability to chip Teleport to House teletabs to take you to Trollheim instead.
  • update 19 January 2010 (Update):
    • The various dwarves of RuneScape have had a visit from the Makeover Mage, who has given their chatheads a new look.
