The strange implement is found in the basement of the temple ruins located in the ruins of Uzer. During The Golem quest, players use it to open the Clay golem's head to reprogram it with the Golem program. It also is used in Shadow of the Storm to make the golem help in the ceremony to resummon the demon.

• Unlike other quest items this item can be obtained without doing the drop trick since it respawns about 5 seconds after being picked up, and you can pick up another without dropping the first.
