The shiny key is obtainable during and after Temple of Ikov. It spawns in the Temple of Ikov near the lesser demons. It is used to take a shortcut into the deeper areas of the dungeon by way of the shed at the back of McGrubor's Wood. This key can be placed on the steel key ring.
