A big fishing net is a fishing tool that is primarily used on net/harpoon fishing spots. It can be purchased from various fishing shops. It can be stored on the tool belt and there is one on the tool belt by default.

Because of the large variety of practically worthless fish and other items that will quickly fill the backpack while fishing in this way, it is rarely used other than for the bass it produces, which may be used with a ring of charos (a) to re-enchant lyres, or caskets which may rarely contain half keys or higher-level talismans. If a player is lucky the net may catch multiple fish and/or items at once. Each fish/item has one roll, except for raw mackerel which has two. The net is also able to catch big bass. Wearing a skills necklace with at least one charge while big net fishing will slightly increase the chance of finding a casket.
