Insect repellent is a bottle of bug spray used to deter aggressive insects. Some can be obtained from a table in the easternmost house of Catherby, or from talking to the beekeeper in his apiary west of Catherby. It can be added to the tool belt.
It can be used to drive bees out of their beehives. Once they are out, players can collect wax from the hive using a bucket to obtain a bucket of wax, or alternatively, take the honey out itself to obtain a honeycomb which is used to create a honey badger pouch. This works similarly for player-owned farm hives to take out special honey. Additionally, insect repellent can be used to weaken mosquito swarms and large mosquitoes in combat during Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup.
