Zorgoth's ring is a reward item from the quest Requiem for a Dragon. A necromantic ring once belonging to Zorgoth, it can be upgraded to Zorgoth's soul ring by going to the Ungael ritual site and speaking to the Archivist first, then performing rituals at the site while wearing the ring. When the ring is upgraded to Zorgoth's soul ring, the following message appears: Zorgoth's ring captures some of the ritual's excess energy!
There is no particular ritual that must be performed or soul attraction amount to be met. It appears to be a maximum of 100 rituals to upgrade the ring, with an increasing chance prior to the guarantee at 100. The level of ritual does not have an impact on the upgrade chance.[1] After the ring has been upgraded, speaking to the Archivist will reveal how many rituals it took the player to upgrade the ring.
Since the ring upgrades upon ritual completion, it is recommended to perform the lesser necroplasm ritual as it has the quickest base ritual duration at 39.6s, which can be further lowered using alteration glyphs.
Three Speed III glyphs with the alteration necklace will maximise the speed bonus, which caps at 50%. This requires a Necromancy level of 102 to draw the Speed III glyphs, but can be achieved at lower levels using extreme necromancy or other boosts.
Max speed can also be achieved with four Speed II glyphs and the alteration necklace, or 5 Speed II glyphs without it.
It is not recommended to interact with any ritual disturbances as this will greatly slow down the ritual completion.
Another alternative is the greater necroplasm ritual, which sacrifice ritual speed to gain more coins. With three Speed III and three Multiply III glyphs and Multiply III on Necromancy cape, the base ritual time of greater necroplasm is 69.6s, reduced by glyphs to 34.8s.

So if you want to min-max it, anything that speeds up ritual completion will increase the frequency of rolls. It has a bad luck mitigation threshold anyway, though."
