A Travelling Merchant Coupon is an item that could be used by talking to travelling merchant to change Travelling Merchant's Shop stock temporarily to any of the previous 30 days.

It was originally obtained at a cost of 10% charges of a Guardian's Gift by selecting the Entrepreneur's Wish, along with other items, but it was made obtainable again through the Frank's Free Chest (April 2023) event.

When talking to the travelling merchant with a coupon, the player is presented an option to input a runedate. Once a valid runedate has been input, a confirmation is shown with a listing of that day's stock. If the player then confirms the selection, the shop's stock is changed to that runedate's stock and the shop is opened, destroying the coupon in the process. Changing the stock doesn't reset its availability; if the player had already bought an item from the selected runedate's stock, it can't be bought again. Talking to the travelling merchant again after changing the stock allows the player to return the stock to the current runedate's stock.

It can be added to the currency pouch. Once added, it is listed under Distractions and Diversions section in the Currencies interface and can't be removed. The maximum number of coupons a player can store in the pouch is 100; however, the maximum number a player could possibly obtain was only 40 prior to the release of the April 2023 Frank's Free Chest event (as a Guardian's Gift could have a maximum of 400% charge).
