A strawberry is a fruit harvested from a strawberry plant grown from a strawberry seed in an allotment patch, requiring level 31 Farming. A minimum of three strawberries is harvested at a time when farmed in an allotment. If a harvest potion is active, white strawberries will be harvested instead of regular strawberries.
Strawberries can be stored in a basket. Up to five strawberries can be stored in each basket, and players can store strawberries within multiple baskets. Strawberries can be eaten raw and heal up to 594 life points each.
Strawberries are an ingredient in summer pies.
Strawberries can be harvested from strawberry plants grown within an allotment patch. A fully grown strawberry plant will yield a minimum of three strawberries at harvest. Each strawberry, when picked, gives 29 Farming experience.
Harvest yields for strawberry plants are determined by a "harvest lives" system. Each strawberry plant begins with three lives. Additional lives are added with the use of compost (+1 life), supercompost (+2 lives), and ultracompost (+3 lives). Every harvest action will roll a chance out of 255 on the specific patch's "Chance to Save", taking one of the harvest lives from the patch if it does not hit; the patch will be cleared when it runs out of lives. The "Chance to Save" is dependent on the player's Farming level.
