A golden watermelon is a mega produce version of a watermelon. It is grown using regular watermelon seeds in allotment patches. Once the patch is fully grown, players can harvest golden watermelons by first consuming a harvest potion. Once it is active, golden watermelons will be harvested instead of regular watermelons.

Golden watermelons are a component in the production of a primal dessert, which is in turn used to produce a primal feast. To make a primal dessert players require 99 Cooking, as well as a white strawberry, a golden watermelon, a dragonfruit and a mango.
