A raw cave potato is an item that can be harvested after planting cave potato seeds while training the Dungeoneering skill in Daemonheim. Once cooked it becomes a baked cave potato, which can be used to make higher healing foods when combined with fish and optionally gissel or edicap mushroom. Unlike surface potatoes, it can be cooked successfully over a fire, not requiring a range. When burnt, it will turn into ashes.
When it is eaten raw, you will get a message saying "You eat the raw cave potato. You must really be hungry." However, it heals 25 life points, the same as its baked counterpart.
