Grimy kwuarm detail.png

A grimy kwuarm is a grimy herb. It can be cleaned at level 54 Herblore to produce a clean kwuarm, awarding 11.3 experience. Grimy kwuarms can be grown from a kwuarm seed at level 56 Farming, obtained from the Sorceress's Garden minigame, or obtained as a drop. Clean kwuarms are used to make super strength potions at level 55 Herblore and weapon poison at level 60 Herblore.

Cleaning grimy kwuarm yields a profit/loss of 856 coins per herb.

Farming[edit | edit source]

Grimy kwuarm can be harvested from kwuarm plants grown within a herb patch. A fully grown kwuarm will yield a minimum of three grimy kwuarm at harvest. Each grimy kwuarm, when picked, gives 78 Farming experience.

Harvest yields for kwuarm plants are determined by a "harvest lives" system. Each kwuarm plant begins with 3 lives. Additional lives are added with the use of compost (+1 life), supercompost (+2 lives) and ultracompost (+3 lives). Every harvest action will roll a chance out of 255 on the specific patch's "Chance to Save", taking one of the harvest lives from the patch if it does not hit; the patch will be cleared when it runs out of lives. The "Chance to Save" is dependent on the player's Farming level.
