The Achto Teralith gauntlets are a level 90 melee tank hands slot item, part of the Achto Teralith equipment set. They are an uncommon drop from the Liberation of Mazcab bosses. Besides Daemonheim-only armour, they offer the best defensive bonuses for any item in their slot, tied with other equipment from Liberation of Mazcab.

As part of the set, they can be worn to increase the effects of its Set Bonus.

Dying in the Wilderness while skulled or in the Clan Wars red portal with the Achto Teralith gauntlets will drop 6,000,000 coins coins instead of the item.

Repair

[edit | edit source]

The equipment from Liberation of Mazcab degrades as it is used outside of the activity. Equipment received from Liberation of Mazcab is fully repaired and can be used for 100,000 charges of combat (minimum time around 17 hours) until it degrades completely and requires repair before it can be used again; it does not suffer in performance as it degrades from fully repaired to fully degraded. The remaining charges of the equipment can be checked by right-clicking it and selecting "check charges". Items lose 20% charge if reclaimed from a gravestone after dying.

There are two ways to repair equipment from Liberation of Mazcab. Players can talk to any of the characters listed below and they will repair the items for a price in coins, or they can repair the pieces themselves using an armour stand in any player-owned house for a reduced cost based on their Smithing level. (While the newspost states that teci can be used, this is not the case.) The equipment can be repaired at any stage, and the cost will be adjusted according to how much it has degraded. The repair costs below are as if the equipment has fully degraded.

The following characters can repair the armour:

Drop sources

[edit | edit source]
For an exhaustive list of all known sources for this item, see here.
  1. ^ The base chance to obtain any armour piece is 1/20, or 1/18 with maximum reputation. If all armour pieces are owned, this chance is multiplied by 1/9. Otherwise, the chosen armour piece is determined by the missing armour pieces (in order: boots, gloves, helmet, legs and body) and the combat style used.
