Lil' Tuzzy is a pet with the appearance of a miniature version of Tuz that can be obtained as a very rare reward from Beastmaster Durzag, with a drop rate of 1/512.[1][2]
Due to how the rewards are generated upon looting Beastmaster Durzag, it is possible to optimise Lil' Tuzzy's drop chance. Achto items and Mazcab ability codices are prioritised over the pet in the reward loot. Thus, lowering the chance of those items by not using tier 4 luck such as Luck of the Dwarves ring or Luck of the Dwarves relic power slightly increases the chance of receiving Lil' Tuzzy.
This strategy slightly reduces the profits the player could gain in exchange for a ~1% increase in the drop chance of Lil' Tuzzy. On average, approximately 125,161 coins are not gained per kill. Over 512 kills this amount will add up to an approximate total of 64,082,184 coins.
^The droprate for obtaining Lil' Tuzzy is 1 in 512, and the roll only happens if neither Achto armour nor Mazcab ability codex was rolled successfully.

Since an update on 19 October2015, Lil' Tuzzy shows up in Beastmaster Durzag's loot interface when receiving the pet. Previously, the pet would be unlocked automatically upon looting the corpse.
If Lil' Tuzzy is received as a drop, the examine text for it in the loot interface instead reads: "Don't you just want to give him a home?"
