A lunar bar is a metal bar that can be smelted from lunar ore, and which is used to smith into a lunar helm in the quest Lunar Diplomacy. This bar does not require a specific Smithing level to smelt. To receive the lunar ore, a person would have to mine a stalagmites in the Lunar Isle mine.

During the quest, the best way to make the lunar helm is to use the furnace and anvil in the house just south of the Lunar Isle lodestone.

Similar to lunar ore, players are only permitted one lunar bar, so the drop trick or banking will not allow players to collect more.

Trivia

• Previously, players were able to collect multiple lunar bars during the quest, so some would sometimes leave Lunar Diplomacy incomplete so that they could craft multiple lunar helms.
