Wizard Borann is the librarian on the ground floor^[UK]1^st floor^[US] of the Wizards' Tower. During Rune Mysteries, he is attacked by a red vortex from the ruins of the old tower and is convinced it is Zamorakian. He wields the tower mindspike, which he gives an adventurer as a gift of thanks after he is saved from the vortex. Borann is rather old and, according to Wizard Jalarast, not up for the stressful job of librarian.
