Edgeville Home Teleport was a teleport spell which provided players with a free transport to Edgeville. It was in the Ancient Magicks spellbook, which can only be used after Desert Treasure is completed. It took around 10 seconds to cast the spell, and can be interrupted at any time by combat. Similar to logging out, the spell can only be used 10 seconds after combat.

This spell had a 30-minute limit between uses until a hidden update on 28 March 2011.

Edgeville Home Teleport is not the same as Paddewwa Teleport, which teleports the caster to Edgeville Dungeon.

If this spell is used on a non-member's world, it will teleport players to Lumbridge instead of Edgeville.

Using this teleport was one of the hard Varrock achievements.

This is a useful spell when getting to the Grand Exchange, as it goes to the same place as Edgeville.

  • Fixed an issue with the Home Teleport and the Varrock Achievement Diary.

• patch 2 October 2007 (Update):
  • The Home Teleport spell, initially designed to help players who were stuck, has been slightly changed. If you have the Ancient or Lunar spellbook and cast the spell - when on a free world - you will now be teleported to Lumbridge. When you return to a members' world, these will teleport you to Edgeville or Lunar Isle.
