A bronze chainbody is tier 1 melee body armour. It requires level 1 Defence to wear.

It can be made at a forge and anvil using 5 bronze bars, requiring 500 progress to complete, granting a total of 75 Smithing experience.

A bronze chainbody spawn can be found on the floor in the Dwarven Mine near a dwarf named Boot.

When dropped by a monster, it will be treated like large plated bronze salvage by the spring cleaner.
