Initiate hauberk Detailed.

An initiate hauberk is the platebody piece of initiate armour that can be obtained from the Initiate Temple Knight Armoury or Proselyte Temple Knight Armoury run by Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Recruitment Drive quest. It can also be obtained by unpacking an initiate harness (f) or initiate harness (m). The quest is required to equip the hauberk, along with 25 Defence. It is white with bright gold trim.

This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from treasure trails.

The hauberk, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the armour case of a player-owned house.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In real life, the hauberk is a long coat of chainmail; a more appropriate name for this would be cuirass.
  • White, Initiate, and Proselyte equipment do not interfere with Ava's devices.
  • Before a hidden update in 2006, the hauberk was not trimmed with gold. It looked the same as a white platebody.
