Lilwyr is the pet version of Helwyr. It is unlocked by inspecting the twisted antler, which can be obtained as a drop from the boss. The odds of receiving the item are 1 in 2,000 (normal mode), or 1 in 1,000 (challenge mode), both with a threshold of 400 (explanation of drop mechanics). This is not affected by the increased drop chance reward from reputation.

The "ancient beast" the pet alludes to in one of its conversations is the Hunllef, a monster referenced in the Ancient Tarddian Journal.
His examine text may be a reference to Man-Bear-Pig, a creature from the cartoon show South Park, which is referred to as being "Half-man, half-bear, half-pig."
