The anima core of Zamorak armour is a set of Ranged armour that can be obtained from Heart of Gielinor. It requires 80 Defence to wear. It has stats similar to Pernix equipment and does not degrade, but it provides no bonuses to Prayer or life points. It can be made by combining dormant anima core equipment with crests of Zamorak.

Pieces of this armour do count as Zamorakian god equipment for protection from Zamorakian monsters within God Wars Dungeon, but unlike the comparable Pernix equipment (and other tier 80 equipment dropped by Nex), it does not count as protection from all factions.

Anima core of Zamorak armour can be upgraded to refined anima core of Zamorak armour using 1-3 Serenic, Sliskean, Zamorakian, and Zarosian essence per each piece of the armour, after the ability to craft refined anima core of Zamorak armour has been unlocked by earning 2,000 reputation with the Zamorakian faction. One of each essence is required to create the helm, two are required to make the legs, and three are required to make the body.

Refined armour

Refined anima core of Zamorak armour reverts back to an unrefined version after 100,000 charges of combat, where it can be crafted again using more essences. It can also be restored to 100% charge at any time using 1-3 of each essence depending on if the piece is a helm, body, or leg (essentially re-creating it). Doing so costs 86,244,900 coins for the full set.

Repair cost

Perks can be added to the refined anima core body and legs, and when they run out of charge, they must be repaired by adding essences. This preserves the augmentation and the perks on the armour.
