The prime hatchling is a boss pet. It is a miniature version of Dagannoth Prime, and can be unlocked by inspecting a dagannoth egg, which can be obtained as a drop by killing Dagannoth Prime. The chances of obtaining the dagannoth egg increases with the number of kills recorded in the beasts tab (explanation of drop mechanics). After the item has been inspected, prime hatchling can be called from the Pets tab in the Customisations interface.
