The hardened fighter hat is an upgraded version of the fighter hat which can be made by using a barbarian assault armour patch on a fighter hat. This increases the damage bonus by 3.8 (equivalent to tier 65). Cosmetically the armour remains the same.

The hat is part of the Penance armour set, which restores prayer over time (30 points per minute) when the full set (fighter torso, penance skirt, runner boots, penance gloves, and any penance hat) is worn.

If lost in a PvP situation, the killer will receive 23,040 coins.
