The thing under the bed is a creature that can be found under the Wise Old Man's bed in Draynor Village. In members worlds, players can help the Wise Old Man do small tasks, one of which is to fight the thing under the bed.

Luckily, the monster is very weak, and players should have little trouble disposing of it. If the player succeeds, they will be rewarded with Constitution experience.

Even if not assigned the task, players may still kick the bed, but nothing will happen. The Wise Old Man mentions that he thinks the thing under the bed was scared into his house by the H.A.M. group.

Mod Ash confirming the thing under the bed is a goblin in a Q&A session.

• The Thing was confirmed by Mod Ash to be a goblin, though its body is never seen. Its model is based off the arm of the original model used by cave goblins before they were updated in 2007.
