Pulverise is an ultimate melee ability. It requires level 71 Attack to use. When activated, the player deals 300% to 340% ability damage to their target and applies the Pulverised status which reduces all damage the target deals by 25% for 30 seconds; if it kills the target, it grants 50% adrenaline (NPC targets only).

It is usually impossible to gain both damage reduction and adrenaline at the same time because an enemy can only be either killed or survive from an attack. One exception to this is Araxxor, as reducing him to 0 life points in the first two phases will result in him immediately being healed to 5000 life points, at which point the player will be compensated 50% adrenaline.

This ability is most useful against strong boss monsters or other players, as it will reduce the potentially high amount of damage they deal.

When killing weaker monsters en masse you can take advantage of the adrenaline compensation effect. Generally speaking, however, Meteor Strike is almost always a better alternative due to its ability to hit multiple targets and its relatively high chance of activating a critical hit (this can be further increased by +20% per large pen with at least one elder Corbicula Rex in it), in addition to its secondary effects of restoring adrenaline over time and boosting adrenaline gain from basic abilities. These effects combined can often result in a net gain of well over 50% adrenaline.

If used to kill an NPC while Natural Instinct is active, Pulverise will grant 100% adrenaline allowing the immediate use of another ultimate ability.
