A leather body is a portion of leather armour most commonly worn by low-level rangers and pure rangers, requiring no levels to be equipped. It is worn in the Chest slot. Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 1 from 1 piece of soft leather, giving 25 Crafting experience. Leather bodies may also be bought from the Varrock clothes shop, or found in a house south of the Varrock East Bank for free.

At level 41 Crafting, steel studs can be added to the body to make a studded body, giving 40 Crafting experience.

A leather body is one of the possible items that can be obtained from a mystery cracker.
