The mystery cracker is an item received by a player who has been referred to RuneScape by a friend. It can be used on any player to give the new player one of each of the following:
- A hat - Either a leather cowl, wizard hat (blue) or wizard hat (black)
- A body - Either a leather body, cape (random colour), or a priest gown (top)
- A weapon - Either a bronze sword, bronze 2h sword, bronze scimitar, bronze longsword, bronze warhammer, or a bronze battleaxe.
- 500 coins
- Cake
The items that player gets cannot be selected; the player will randomly get one item from each category.
