A cracked fishing urn is the resulting urn after the player starts filling a cracked fishing urn (empty). While the player carries the urn in their backpack, it will fill up passively as the player catches fish requiring up to and including level 10 Fishing, until it is filled with 750 experience and becomes a cracked fishing urn (full).

The fully filled urn will grant 150 Fishing experience after teleporting the urn to Ernie. While carrying an urn enhancer, it will instead grant 187.5 experience per teleported urn for a cost of 20 charges.

Making the urns and adding a water rune to the urns requires level 1 Crafting. The Assist System and temporary skill boost can be used to do so. Filling the urns and teleporting the urns does not require Crafting a level.

Exceptions

  • If two fish are caught at once with high Agility, the urn only fills with experience from the first catch.
  • Only the base experience gained is considered; additional experience from sources such as the mad necklace, experience lamps, or Double XP do not count towards the urn's filling.
  • Bonus experience has no effect for both filling and teleporting the urn.
