A Brooch of the Gods is a non-degrading alchemical hydrix item worn in the pocket slot. It is made by enchanting an alchemical hydrix brooch with the Lvl-6 Enchant spell or an enchant onyx tablet. It provides a +4 prayer bonus. Once equipped, this item becomes permanently untradeable after a confirmation prompt.
The brooch has several effects while worn:
- Up to 1,000 of each type of decorated urn (r) or effigies can be stored within the brooch. A new urn is only used when the player is skilling with the brooch worn. Effigies take priority over an urn for filling; they cannot both be filled simultaneously. As with filling urns and effigies normally, if an in-progress urn or effigy is present in the bank, then it will be teleported to the player's inventory rather than starting a new one.
- Portable skill station effects are twice as likely to trigger.
- This includes the Waiko grill's chance to duplicate Arc related food if the relevant upgrade has been purchased.
- Certain actions while training certain skills have experience increased by 20% or receive an increase in effectiveness.
- A divine blessing will occasionally appear nearby when training non-combat skills, including Slayer. The blessing can be captured for invention components, in a way similar to Seren spirits and the scavenging perk. The brooch can also be triggered by the effects of herbicide, seedicide, and other drop cleaners.
- Divine blessings will not spawn if Invention hasn't been unlocked.
The brooch's effects can be checked in-game on its examine message and tooltip and, after being converted to untradeable by wearing it, with its "information" option.
