A decorated divination urn can be created at 82 Crafting by using a mind rune on a decorated divination urn (nr), and is used to help gain Divination experience. It will collect memory fragments while gathering from divination springs and depositing memories. The urn is filled when the player has earned 9,500 Divination experience with the urn in inventory, after which it can be teleported to Ernie for 1,900 experience. If teleported with an Urn enhancer, it will grant 2,375 experience instead.
Harvesting at the incandescent wisp colony takes roughly 15 minutes per urn equating to 7.6k more xp per hour. With an urn enhancer, this can be boosted to 9.5k
Although creating divine charges with invention gives divination experience, no memory fragments are collected during this activity.
The best place to make urns is at a portable crafter near a bank. Otherwise, players may find it easy to complete in the Crafting Guild, Prifddinas, Gunnarsgrunn, Taverley or Burthorpe.
Steps to complete:
- Mine clay
- Use the clay on a water source to make soft clay. Which can be skipped if the clay was mined with a bracelet of clay
- Use the soft clay on a potter's wheel. You may need to use the drop down menu in the top left of the window to select the urn category. 2 pieces of clay makes an urn.
- Use the (unf) urns on a pottery oven to fire them.
- Add a mind rune to the urn.
