A strong Runecrafting urn is used with the Runecrafting skill to help gain experience. It will collect rune remnants while crafting runes that require up to and including level 77 Runecrafting. It can also be used while siphoning in Runespan.
It can be created at 52 Crafting by forming a strong Runecrafting urn (unf) on a potter's wheel (granting 35 experience), requiring 2 soft clay to make. It must then be fired (granting 52.5 experience) in a pottery oven creating a strong Runecrafting urn (nr). The urn must then be activated with a pure essence to become a strong Runecrafting urn (r) before it can be used. Players that do not have the required Crafting level to place the essence in the urn may use the assist system. The urn will become full when the player has earned 5,000 Runecrafting experience with the urn in their inventory.
Once the strong Runecrafting urn is full, it becomes a strong Runecrafting urn (full) and can be teleported to Ernie for 1,000 Runecrafting experience (1,250 with an urn enhancer). You may only own 10 full urns in your inventory/bank at once, if you have 10 full urns a new one will not be started.
Runecrafting urns do not work when siphoning from a Runesphere, regardless of what runes are being siphoned.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Runecrafting urns are currently the only set of urns whose rune component is not stackable, resulting in longer production times than other urns.
